For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Ages 11-14
At this age, children are more prepared to explore the plan God has for their lives. They understand why we are exhorted not to “hide our lights under a bushel” and can more fully share their gifts with the world. We encourage them to lead with a servant's heart and know when to step aside to allow others to use their own unique gifts. Having established a love of learning, they are now guided to accept the responsibility of a more active role in the planning and execution of their education. At this point they can see they have been called to serve a community and live the Christian adventure together.
